Synopsis ::

Madhavan and Govindan have been together for the past 25 years. Whatever they do, they do together. Govindan is the underworld don of old Cochin. Madhavan is his modern day counterpart. Sharadha is Govindan's daughter and the wife of Sarath Chandran, the Chief Town Planner. Sarath is a person who will not compromise on principles. He however, has a feeling that his wife Sharadha has an illicit relationship with Madhavan though it is not true. This causes her untold pain, as it does to Madhavan and Govindan.


Madhavan is the sworn enemy of the real estate mafia, and always comes to the succor of poor people who are deprived of their property by land sharks. His encounter with the Kottooran Group changes his very life. Suresh Gopi plays the role of Madhavan while Murali does the role of Govindan. B. Unnikrishnan, who has written scripts for numerous films with Suresh Gopi in the lead, makes his editorial debut with Smart City, which too has Gopi in the lead. He also does the script for the film, for which the switch-on ceremony was held at Kalapurackal bungalow in Edakochi on Sept 27, 2006. Smart City, which has Suresh Gopi doing a partly negative role, will have a totally commercial colour and format. Shooting is progressing in Kochi.[/FONT][/color][/b]
